 TREE PLANTATION

Trees are gifts of nature. They are our great friends and useful to us in many ways. Trees play a vital role in the economy of a country. They exert much influence upon the climatic condition of a country. They give us fruits, food, and shelter. They make land fertile. They save land from erosion. They are as such, part and parcel of our life. So we should plant more trees. On an average 25% land of a country should have forests to ensure a safe environment. According to this data our proportion is not satisfactory. In order to save our country from droughts more trees should be planted. We know that trees supply oxygen, the most essential thing which we breathe. Besides, these trees offer us variety of woods that are used to make furniture. Tired passers by take rest under the shadow of trees. Birds make their nests in trees. Regarding all these things we think more trees should be planted in our country. For the soundness of nature, tree plantation is essential. The visitors also choose the spots having large amount of trees. For mental refreshment such places possess a great demand. So, to inspire tree plantation, prize giving may be implemented. Present government’s effort to give share of the trees to the poor is undoubtedly praise worthy. In ensuring a healthier and happier life, we should plant more trees than we cut down. So, it should be our slogan, “cut one tree, and plant two trees.”

A TEA STALL

A tea stall is place in which people gather and have tea for refreshment. It is generally found in railway station, bus stands and even in villages. It is a kind of small shop. In a tea stall there are a few chairs, tables, or benches. Prepared tea is served to the customers. Biscuits, cakes, loabs, bananas, cigarettes and betel leaf are sold here. They are often a boy or two to serve tea to the customers. The manager sits behind the cash box and collects money from the customers. A tea stall is a popular place. People of different ages and classes come here. They take tea and talk with one another, they discuss on various subjects. They discuss on the village politics, national and international topics and current affairs. In fine it can be commented that a tea shall is an important place of social gathering.

ENVIRONMENT POLLUTION

Now a days environment pollution is one of the most talked of topics of the world. Pollution means impurity. When the environment is made impure by dust or smoke or by bad sewage system, it is called pollution. Our environment is polluted in two ways air pollution and water pollution. Air is polluted in many ways. Smoke pollutes air by making fire to cook his food to make bricks by melting pitch for road construction and burns woods. All these things produce heavy smoke and this smoke pollutes air. The air is constantly being polluted by smoke from factories and for carbon mono-oxide gases emitted by motor vehicles. Water is polluted in many ways. Farmers use chemical fertilisers and insecticide in their lands to grow more food. The rain and floods wash away some of the chemicals. They get mixed with canal water and river water. Mills and factories pollute water by throwing the waste materials and unsold products into the rivers and canals, which kills fish and plant. Thus air and water are polluted and as a result our environment gets polluted.
