LEISURE/PASTIMES
Leisure is the time when a man is totally free from business, work and domestic chores. It is also the period of time before or after necessary activities like eating, sleeping, attending school and, doing homework. Human life is full of duties and responsibilities. One has to live through a struggle of duties. Our duties are shaped up in a regular routine. Work and leisure are interrelated. Both are essential for human development. When a person works for a long time, he naturally gets tired and in order to get rid of tiredness, he requires rest or leisure. If a man goes on working without any relaxation, his life will be monotonous. We cannot avoid our work and worries. But leisure helps us break this chain and enables us to refresh ourselves and to revive our spirit. Leisure breaks the monotony of existence with a touch of variety. The proper use of leisure instils inspiration -to do the next work with more zeal. It may waste some time, but it creates a new measure of strength and we can do our next work more attentively and sincerely. So, we should make proper use of our leisure to get good outcome in our life. We should think leisure as leisure, and use it properly. We should not waste leisure doing any work. If we do so, the result will not lavourable.

ARSENIC POLLUTIONS
Arsenic is a kind o poisonous chemical. This chemical is found in some sources of water. In the water of some tube wells this poisonous agent has been found for one or two decades. Human body is affected by the drinking of this polluted water. But the sign of this poison in human body does not show itself immediately. Gradually the poison spreads its adverse effects in the body. In the beginning sores appear in the fingers or in any other its part of the body. But if the attected person continues taking arsenic polluted water, he may ultimately fall a victim to gangrene and then to cancer. This process of adverse effects of in arsenic human body is called arsenicosis. The disease of this poisonous effects has become a great threat to human life. Till now there is no medical preventive of this long term disease. But by taking steps we can save ourselves from arsenic pollution. First we should drink water from a source free from arsenic. Then the tube wells containing arsenic should be identified and painted red and the safe ones should be painted green. Next more tube wells can be set up in the areas free from arsenic pollutions. Besieds, surface water including rain water can be used after some sort of treatment. These sources are usually arsenic free. Finally people should eat balanced diet containing enough fish and vegetables. Then we can expect to be free from arsenic pollution.
